The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Arizona Wildcats meet in Pac-12 conference college football action from Arizona Stadium on Friday.

The Arizona State Sun Devils will look to bounce back and finish strong after a 31-7 loss to Oregon State for a third straight loss last time out. Emory Jones has thrown for 1,533 yards, 7 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 62.8% passing while Trenton Bourguet has thrown for 1,114 yards, 8 touchdowns and 4 INTs on 69.7% passing. Elijhah Badger has a team-high 774 receiving yards on 62 catches with 6 TDs while three other Sun Devils have 300+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Kyle Soelle leads the Sun Devils with 105 total tackles including 51 solo tackles and a pair of interceptions this season. Chris Edmonds also has a team-high 3 INTs this season.

The Arizona Wildcats will look to bounce back after a 31-20 loss to Washington State last time out to drop their 5th game in their last 6 tries. On defense, Jaxen Turner has a team-high 71 total tackles while Hunter Echols has a team-high 4.5 sacks.

Arizona State is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 conference games while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 road games against a team with a losing home record. Arizona is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS loss while the under is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games in November.

I can make a case for either side here being a rivalry game and you can usually throw trends and records out the window. That being said, I’m making the case for Arizona here, as this game does feature two porous defenses, but over the course of the season, I’d probably trust Arizona to make more big plays offensively than I would ASU. Not a game I’m rushing to bet, but I lean Arizona laying the points here.
