The Michigan Wolverines and Maryland Terrapins clash Saturday in a week 4 Big Ten conference college football game from Michigan Stadium.

The Maryland Terrapins will be looking to build on their 3-0 start to the year after a 34-27 win over SMU last time out. At the time this article was written, Taulia Tagovailoa’s thrown for 681 yards, 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 78.5% passing while Roman Hemby and Antwain Littleton II have combined for 236 rushing yards and 5 scores this season. Jeshaun Jones, Rakim Jarreyy and Jacob Copeland all have 100+ receiving yards this season with Jones and Copeland each chipping in 2 receiving touchdowns. On defense, Beau Brade has a team-high 12 total tackles with 7 solo tackles and Henry Chibueze has a pair of sacks as well this season.

The Michigan Wolverines will try to remain unbeaten after climbing to 3-0 with a 59-0 rout of UConn last time out. At the time this article was written, J.J. McCarthy’s thrown for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns on 93.8% passing while Cade McNamara has thrown for 162 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 54.2% passing and Blake Corum has a team-high 164 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Roman Wilson leads Michigan’s receiving group with 107 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Junior Colson has a team-high 12 total tackles while Rod Moore has an interception and the Michigan defense has a combined 8 sacks so far this season.

Maryland is 17-37 in their last 54 games against a team with a winning record and 6-14 ATS in their last 20 road games while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 road games against a team with a winning home record. Michigan is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 conference games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 September games.

I get the reasoning for backing either side here, but I’m sticking with the over. Michigan’s fully capable of running it up here, but Maryland’s no slouch this time around and the offense has really picked up this season for the Terps. I think this one could be fairly exciting and in the end I see this one finishing closer to 75-80 points so give me the over.
