The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Miami Hurricanes clash Saturday in a week 11 ACC college football matchup from Bobby Dogg Stadium.

The Miami Hurricanes will try to bounce back from a 45-3 beatdown loss at the hands of Florida State in their last game. Tyler Van Dyke has thrown for 1,761 yards, 10 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 63.7% passing while Henry Parrish Jr. has a team-high 569 rushing yards and 4 TDs and Thaddius Franklin Jr. has 5 rushing scores this season. Will Mallory leads Miami’s receiving group with 28 grabs for 371 yards while Colbie Young has 332 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. Brashard Smith, Xavier Restrepo and Frank Ladson Jr. each have 200+ receiving yards this season while Five more Hurricanes have at least 100 receiving yards this season. On defense, Corey Flagg Jr. has a team-high 51 total tackles with 2.5 sacks while Jahfari Harvey also has 3.5 sacks and Akheem Mesidor has a team-high 5 sacks as part of Miami’s 32 sacks as a team this year.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be out to build on their 28-27 road win over Virginia Tech last time out. Jeff Sims has thrown for 1,115 yards, 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 58.5% passing while Hassan Hall has a team-high 458 rushing yards and Dontae Smith has 343 rushing yards with 4 TDs. Nate McCollum leads the Yellow Jackets in receiving with 46 grabs for 489 receiving yards while Malachi Carter and E.J. Jenkins each have 200+ receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Charlie Thomas and Ayinde Eley each have a team-high 86 total tackles while Keion White has a team-high 4.5 sacks and Eley has 3.5 sacks as part of Georgia Tech’s 21 sacks as a team. Georgia Tech also has 10 interceptions as a unit this season.

Miami is 0-8 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS loss while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record. Georgia Tech is 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games overall and 7-20 ATS in their last 27 home games while the under is 6-0 in their last 6 home games.

I get the reasoning for wanting to back Miami here, but the Hurricanes have been a disaster in a lot of their recent games. On the other side, I’m not excited to back Georgia Tech in any way shape or form either. Instead, I’m going to side with the under here.  I’m expecting this game to be a slopfest that’s mainly played between the 20s and one that feels like the first to 17 wins. Give me the under.
