The Louisville Cardinals and NC State Wolfpack do battle Saturday in a week 12 ACC college football matchup from Cardinal Stadium.

The NC State Wolfpack will be out to bounce back from a 21-20 loss to Boston College last time out. MJ morris has thrown for 648 yards, 7 touchdowns and an interception on 60.5% passing while Jordan Houston leads the Wolfpack with 459 rushing yards and Demie Sumo-Karngbaye has 305 rushing yards with 3 touchdowns as well this season. Thayer Thomas has a team-high 569 receiving yards while Devin Carter and Keyon Lesane each have 250+ receiving yards and another four other NC State receivers have at least 100 receiving yards this season. On defense, Drake Thomas has a team-high 73 total tackles while Aydan White has 4 interceptions this season.

The Louisville Cardinals will try to rebound from a 31-16 loss to Clemson in their last game. Malik Cunningham’s thrown for 1,552 yards, 8 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 62.7% passing while also rushing for a team-high 561 yards and 11 scores. Brock Domann has also thrown for 584 yards, 2 touchdowns and 4 INTs on 51.9% passing. Tiyon Evans has 523 rushing yards and 6 TDs this season while Jawhar Jordan has 450 rushing yards and Trevion Cooley has 278 rushing yards as well this season. Tyler Hudson has a team-high 57 grabs for 866 yards and Ahmari Higgins-Bruce has 375 receiving yards as well this season. Marshon Ford’s also chipped in 329 receiving yards on the year. On defense, Momo Sanogo leads the Cardinals with 74 total tackles including 39 solo tackles while as a unit, Louisville has 35 sacks and 14 interceptions this season.

NC State is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 conference games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games in November. Louisville is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games.

I get the reasoning for backing either side in this game, but I’m looking at the under here. This could end up being a battle of the backups in Malik Cunningham doesn’t go and I don’t trust NC State’s offense since Devin Leary went down and Louisville without Cunningham loses a dimension of their offense that only a dual threat QB like Cunningham brings. All in all I think this is a slopfest played between the 20s, so give me the under here.
