Mississippi State is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in October while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 road games against a team with a winning home record. Kentucky is 18-8-1 ATS in their last 27 home games and 19-5-2 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 conference games.
I get the case to be made for either side here, but I’m leaning towards Mississippi State here. The Wildcats have been solid against the pass, but haven’t faced a team that can air it out like Mississippi State this season. The Bulldogs have really turned it on in recent weeks and while Kentucky has played well early on this year, they’ve really struggled in their last couple of games, especially offensively, and I think the Wildcats will struggle to keep pace here as well. Give me Mississippi State here.
