Lorenzo White was a standout with the Michigan State Spartans in the 1980’s. As a sophomore, he rushed for 419 times for 2,006 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Steve Bartalo was a standout with the Colorado Buffaloes during the mid 1980’ 11 games as a senior, he rushed 362 times. 

1.Ron Dayne -1220 Attempts

Ron Dayne is one of the greatest running backs in college football history because of his standout career with the Wisconsin Badgers. As a senior, he rushed 337 times for 2,034 yards and 20 touchdowns.
