The BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes meet Thursday in CFL action at Molson Stadium.

The BC Lions look to get a game above a .500 record with their second road victory of the season. The BC Lions have won five of their last seven road games. Jonathon Jennings is completing 65.2 percent of his passes for 565 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Jennings has 20 touchdown passes in 20 games. Bryan Burnham and Nick Moore have combined for 272 receiving yards on 20 receptions while Emmanuel Arceneaux has eight receptions. The BC Lions ground game is averaging 113.5 yards per contest, and Jeremiah Johnson leads the way with 162 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, BC is allowing 22.5 points and 384.5 yards per game. Solomon Elimimian leads the BC Lions with 14 tackles, Craig Roh has three sacks and Ronnie Yell has one interception.

The Montreal Alouettes also look to get a game above a .500 record while staying unbeaten at home. The Montreal Alouettes have won three of their last four home games. Darian Durant is completing 61.8 percent of his passes for 399 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Durant has 17 touchdown passes in his last 17 games played. B.J. Cunningham and Nik Lewis have combined for 232 receiving yards and one touchdown while Tiquan Underwood has five receptions. The Montreal Alouettes ground game is averaging 102.5 yards per contest, and Tyrell Sutton leads the way with 156 yards on 25 carries. Defensively, Montreal is allowing 19.5 points and 383.5 yards per game. Kyries Hebert leads the Montreal Alouettes with 14 tackles, Dondre Wright has one pass deflection and Jonathon Mincy has one interception.

The Lions are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games. The Alouettes are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games, 0-7 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Lions are 26-9 ATS in their last 35 meetings and the over is 7-2 in the last 9 meetings in Montreal.

BC has won the last three meetings against Montreal and neither game was all that close. The Alouettes last win over the Lions came in August of 2015. And while Montreal has been good at home and has a slight edge on defense, BC has had no trouble winning on the road dating back to last season and has a considerable edge in offensive production. I like the BC Lions to get another road victory and improve to 2-1 on the season.
