The Ottawa Redblacks and Edmonton Eskimos meet Friday in CFL action at Commonwealth Stadium.

The Ottawa Redblacks could use a nice road victory after a slow 0-2-1 start to the CFL season. The Ottawa Redblacks have split their last six road games. Trevor Harris is completing 73.2 percent of his passes for 1,095 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. Harris has 23 touchdown passes in his last 15 games played. Greg Ellingson and Brad Sinopoli have combined for 655 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Diontae Spencer has 10 receptions. The Ottawa Redblacks ground game is averaging 84.7 yards per contest, and Mossis Madu leads the way with 125 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Ottawa is allowing 33.3 points and 425 yards per game. Taylor Reed leads the Ottawa Redblacks with 16 tackles, Steven Miller has one sack and Jonathan Rose has four pass deflections.

The Edmonton Eskimos look for another victory to build on their quick 2-0 start. The Edmonton Eskimos have won three straight home games. Mike Reilly is completing 73.4 percent of his passes for 601 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Reilly has 31 touchdown passes in his last 19 games played. Brandon Zylstra and Adarius Bowman have combined for 318 receiving yards and one touchdown while D'haquille Williams has five receptions. The Edmonton Eskimos ground game is averaging 92.5 yards per contest, and John White leads the way with 112 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Edmonton is allowing 23 points and 333 yards per game. Korey Jones leads the Edmonton Eskimos with 12 tackles, Odell Willis has two sacks and Kenny Ladler has one interception.

The RedBlacks are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Eskimos are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games, 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games as a home favorite and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a bye week. The over is 16-7 in Eskimos last 23 games as a favorite and the over is 4-1 in RedBlacks last 5 road games.

Ottawa has won the last three meetings against Edmonton, but I'm not sure that matters with the way the Redblacks have struggled to get off the field this season. This is also a quick turnaround for the Redblacks, and they're playing an Eskimos squad that hasn't played since June 30th and has displayed really sharp defense in their first two contests. This seems like a game where the rested Eskimos can run away with on their home field.
