The BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats meet Saturday in CFL action at Tim Hortons Field.

The BC Lions look for their third straight road victory to build on their 2-1 record. The BC Lions have won three straight road games. Jonathon Jennings is completing 67.6 percent of his passes for 853 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Jennings has 29 touchdown passes in 21 games. Bryan Burnham and Emmanuel Arceneaux have combined for 369 receiving yards on 31 receptions while Nick Moore has eight receptions. The BC Lions ground game is averaging 95.3 yards per contest, and Jeremiah Johnson leads the way with 196 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, BC is allowing 20.3 points and 367.7 yards per game. Solomon Elimimian leads the BC Lions with 29 tackles, Craig Roh has two sacks and Ronnie Yell has one interception.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats could use a victory to bounce back from a quick 0-2 start to the season. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats haven’t won a home game since September 16. Zach Collaros is completing 61.6 percent of his passes for 431 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Collaros has 19 touchdown passes in his last 12 games played. Mike Jones and Jalen Saunders have combined for 166 receiving yards on 11 catches while Luke Tasker has seven receptions. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats ground game is averaging 21.5 yards per contest, and Ross Scheuerman leads the way with 19 yards on five carries. Defensively, Hamilton is allowing 34.5 points and 509.5 yards per game. The Lions are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 road games, 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Tiger-Cats are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games and 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall. The Lions are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings and the over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats do have an advantage here with this being their first home game of the season, and you can expect Tim Hortons Field to be loud in support. This is also asking a bit much from the BC Lions, who will play their third straight road game. However, Hamilton has had trouble covering games dating back to last season and hasn't looked good in their frist two games. Meanwhile, BC is playing good ball at both ends of the field and has been covering machines on the road. While we may be pushign our luck with the Lions, I'll lay the field goal here.
