The Ottawa Redblacks and Hamilton Tiger-Cats meet Saturday in week 6 CFL action at Tim Hortons Field. The Ottawa Redblacks look to rebound from an 0-4 start. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats also look for their first win of the season.

The Ottawa Redblacks have lost 10 of their last 11 regular season games. Jeremiah Masoli is completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 1,083 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Jaelon Acklin and Darvin Adams have combined for 519 receiving yards on 33 catches, while Nathaniel Behar has 15 receptions. The Ottawa Redblacks ground game is averaging 79.5 yards per contest, and Devonte Williams leads the way with 118 yards on 21 carries. Defensively, Ottawa is allowing 25 points and 388.3 yards per game. Avery Williams leads the Ottawa Redblacks with 19 tackles, Lorenzo Mauldin has 3 sacks and Monshadrik Hunter has 3 interceptions.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have lost 6 of their last 10 regular season games. Dane Evans is completing 65.1 percent of his passes for 1,081 yards, 5 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Tim White and Steven Dunbar have combined for 541 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns, while Bralon Addison has 22 receptions. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats ground game is averaging 59.3 yards per contest, and Evans leads the way with 65 yards on 16 carries. Defensively, Hamilton is allowing 29.5 points and 360.5 yards per game. Jovan Santos-Knox leads the Hamilton Tiger-Cats with 26 tackles, Tunde Adeleke has 1 sack and Richard Leonard has 1 interception.

The RedBlacks are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games and 7-21 ATS in their last 28 games overall. The Tiger-Cats are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The under is 9-1 in RedBlacks last 10 games overall. The under is 6-2 in Tiger-Cats last 8 vs. East. The RedBlacks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings in Hamilton and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

I'm not running to the window to back either of these teams, but I'm certainly not going to lay a full touchdown with either side. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are going to get the benefit of the doubt at home, but they've been rough on both sides of the ball, and they've been turnover machines offensively. The Ottawa Redblacks can throw the ball a bit, and they've had an extra week to prepare for this game. Give me the free touchdown if forced to pick, as the Tiger-Cats shouldn't be this big of a favorite against anybody.
