The San Francisco Dons host the Nevada Wolf Pack in Friday night action.
Nevada wasn't showered with a ton of accolades before the season began and were predicted to be in the middle of the conference. The Wolf Pack have been exciting to watch through two games with a two point loss to Pacific followed by a 60-58 victory over Cal Poly SLO. The Wolf Pack appeared headed for an 0-2 start as they trailed by nine at the break before coming to life over the final 20 minutes. The Mustangs out shot Nevada 44%-38% but the Wolf Pack made more threes and a few more free throws and forced 17 turnovers. Deonte Burton was the big gun offensively with 22 points and five pulls with Cole Huff adding 14 and Michael Perez chipping in with 13 points.

San Francisco has been burning the nets in their fist two games with over 90 points in each. The Dons have been a capable scoring team in the past so scoring is no big surprise but at some point the defense will need to come up big in the top heavy WCC. It was all offense in a 91-82 decision over Cleveland State with a 56 point second carrying the day. The Vikings hit at 51% from the floor which fell short of the Dons 57% which was the deciding factor with most of the boxscore reasonably close. Mark Tollefson led the scoring spree with 18 points with a 17 point effort from Tim Derksen giving SF a solid one, two punch. Avry Holmes tossed in 14 points while Cole Dickerson and Matt Glover contributin 12 points each with Dickeson hauling in 12 rebounds.
Backing San Francisco worries me because I'm not entirely confident in their defense. They can score and my numbers say this spread is about right so I'll go with who I think has the potential here...
