The Michigan Wolverines have a different set of names on the floor this season but they appear to have plenty of talent to work with. Michigan opened with a 27-point win over UMass-Lowell and then flowed it up with a 34-point win over South Carolina State. Caris LeVert leads Michigan averaging 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Nik Stauskas is averaging 16 points and 3.5 assists, Glenn Robinson III is averaging 14 points and 8.0 rebounds, and Derrick Walton Jr. is averaging 9.0 points. Michigan is averaging 81 points per game while the are shooting 44.7 percent from the floor, 43.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and 78.4 percent from the free throw line.
Iowa State is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall, 4-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 17-5 against the spread in their last 22 home games. Michigan is 6-0 against the spread against the Big 12, 5-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 road games.
This one is a toss up and while Michigan is the more publicly followed team, it makes this line even more appealing and the Cyclones as well.
