The UCLA Bruins are ranked 24th in the nation and they have started the season off 2-0. The Sacramento State Hornets are off to a 1-1 start and a game like this on their schedule is just about as big as it gets. Sac State opened with a win over UC Santa Cruz but then lost to Cal State Bakersfield last time out. Dylan Garrity is averaging 16.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Mikh McKinney is averaging 12.5 points, Cody kemps is averaging 5.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals, and Alex Tiffin is averaging 7.5 points. CSUS is averaging 66 points per game while shooting 40.4 percent from the floor, 35 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and 76.5 percent from the free throw line while their opponents average 74 points and shoot 49 percent.
UCLA is 4-12 against the spread following a win, 1-4 against the spread in their last five non-conference games, and 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games against a team with a losing road record. Sacramento State is 7-2-1 against the spread against the Pac-12, 8-20 against the spread following a loss, and 1-4-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
UCLA can name their number here and with Alford feeling like he has something to prove chances are it is going to be a big number and look for the Bruins to at least double up Sac State here.
