The Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers and the DePaul Blue Demons face off on Tuesday Night in Milwaukee in college basketball action.
The UW-Milwaukee Panthers have been one of the more active teams in the nation this early in the season as they play their sixth game of the year on Tuesday. Milwaukee is off to a 4-1 start winning their last four in a row after losing their opener. Matt Tiby leads the Panther averaging 14.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. Jordan Aaron is averaging 13.8 points, Austin Arians is averaging 12.6 points, Kyle Kelm is averaging 11.6 points and 5.0 rebounds, and Steve McWhorter is averaging 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. Milwaukee doesn’t play again until Saturday after this one.

The DePaul Blue Demons are still trying to take their program to the next level and they have cut no corners putting together a tough out of conference schedule before their Big East schedule begins. On tap for DePaul are Arizona State, Wichita State, and Northwestern among others. DePaul is off to a 2-1 start and they are led by Cleveland Melvin who averages 18.7 points per game and 6.3 rebounds. Brandon Young averages 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists, Tommy Hamilton Jr. is averaging 12.3 points and 6.7 rebounds, and Billy Garrett Jr. is averaging 6.3 points and 4.3 assists. DePaul is averaging 81.7 points and they are shooting 47.9 percent from the floor, 39 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and 68.2 percent from the free throw line.
Milwaukee is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games, 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, and 2-5-1 against the spread against the Big East. DePaul is 6-2 against the spread against the Horizon League, 1-8 against the spread in their last nine games, and 0-4 against the spread in their last four road games.
I like the experience that DePaul has but Milwaukee is battle tested already this year and at home I like the Panthers to win outright.
