The Dayton Flyers and the Baylor Bears face off on Tuesday in Maui for their semi-final game of the Maui Invitational.
The Dayton Flyers are off to a 5-0 start to the season and are coming off of a huge win over a ranked Gonzaga team. Dayton trailed Gonzaga at the half but they rallied to outscore the Zags by 14 points in the second half to get the win. Jordan Siebert leads Dayton averaging 15.6 points and 3.4 rebounds and he came up big with 23 points on Monday. Devin Oliver is averaging 12.8 points and 6.6 rebounds, Dyshawn Pierre is averaging 12.6 points and 6.0 rebounds, and Khari Price is averaging 12.2 points. Dayton is averaging 79 points per game and they are shooting 47.1 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 69 points and their opponents shoot 43.1 percent. Dayton won the rebounding battle against Gonzaga that played right into their hands.

The Baylor Bears are ranked 17th in the nation and are a perfect 5-0 for the season. Baylor blasted host Chaminade by 16 points to reach this game. Brady Heslip leads Baylor averaging 14.8 points and he also provides veteran leadership. Cory Jefferson is averaging 13.4 points and 9.6 rebounds, Kenny Chery is averaging 11.8 points and 4.8 assists, and Isaiah Austin is averaging 10.2 points and 4.4 blocks per game. Baylor averages 77.4 points per game and they shoot 46.6 percent from the floor while defensively they allow 66.6 points and their opponents shoot 35.2 percent. Baylor has been battle tested this season already playing Colorado and South Carolina.
Dayton is 4-0 against the spread following a win, 6-2 against the spread in their last eight neutral site games, and 2-5 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread.
