The Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Dayton Flyers face off on Monday in Maui in early season college basketball tournament action.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are off to a 4-0 start and are ranked 12th in the nation and look to once again be contenders to make the NCAA Tournament. As usual the Zags play a tough out of conference schedule and are coming off of a win against Washington State. Kevin Pangos leads the Bulldogs averaging 18.8 points and 3.8 assists per game. Gary Bell is averaging 16 points, Sam Dower is averaging 12.2 points and 8.8 rebounds, Przemek Karnowski is averaging 10.5 points and 5.8 rebounds, and David Stockton is averaging 7.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 steals. Gonzaga is averaging 91.2 points and they are shooting 55.5 percent from the floor including 48.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 69.5 points per game and their opponents shoot 42.4 percent.

Devin Oliver has UD’s best stat line averaging 13 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. Jordan Sibert is averaging 13.8 points, Khari Price is averaging 12.5 points, Dyshawn Pierre is averaging 12 points and 5.2 rebounds, and Vee Sanford is averaging 10.8 points. Dayton is averaging 7.8 points and they are shooting 47.5 percent while they are allowing 66.5 points and their opponents shoot 41.8 percent.
Gonzaga is 3-7 against the spread against the A-10, 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games, and 5-2-2 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
