The George Washington Colonials and Creighton Bluejays look to leave the Wooden Legacy victorious.
The Colonials stayed unbeaten with an overtime decision over Miami to kick off the Wooden Legacy on the right foot but the good times ended in a 76-60 loss to Marquette. GW had been getting decent perfomances from both the offense and defense until both struggled against the Golden Eagles. GW never found the range with 33% accuracy while Marquette sank shots at a respectable 45% with the key being four more threes and six more makes from the floor overall. Kethan Savage led the George Washington attack with 16 points and five pulls with a 14 point effort coming from Maurice Creek followed Joe McDonald with 12 points and Isaiah Armwood with nine.

The Bluejays hit at 48% from the floor including 13-27 from long range but the Aztecs hung tough with 46% accuracy with eight bombs while winning it with a 26-7 mark at the charity stripe. Doug McDermott poured in a game high 30 points followed by Ethan Wragge with 15 while Austin Chatman tossing in eleven points befor fouling out after 35 minutes.
