Northern Arizona comes in at a record of 2-5 and losses in their last two, including a 76-56 thumping against Drake Saturday. The Lumberjacks were outdone by a sharp-shooting Bulldog team that shot 52 percent from the floor and 55 percent from beyond the arc. Northern Arizona conceded 10 three pointers in all and allowed four Drake players to hit double figures in the game. The Lumberjacks shot 39 percent from the field, 28 percent from downtown and hit 8 of 13 from the line. Junior G Quinton Upshur was the high man with 20 points on 47 percent shooting. On the season, Northern Arizona averages 69.3 ppg on 41 percent shooting and senior F Max Jacobsen leads the team with 17.3 ppg on 60 percent from the floor.
Fresno State vis favored by 12.5 in this one and that's a big number for a team that got smoked by an unranked team and doesn't even have any quality losses to speak of. Northern Arizona got pasted by Texas Tech and even Drake, but does have the one quality loss to USC in a tight one, though. The points look like the play.
