The Bradley Braves and the IUPUI Jaguars face off at the Renaissance Coliseum in Wednesday night action.
Despite suffering through a 6-26 season in 2012-13 IUPUI hasn't had too many losing campaigns so many are hoping the team can regroup this year. That hasn't happened as of yet but there is still time for a team that has been competitive at times. The Jaguars fell to 1-7 following an 87-76 loss to Chattanooga for their fourth consecutive defeat as they never recovered from a 12 point deficit at the half. The offense did well enough on 45.6% shooting but the the defense struggled to get stops with the Mocs connecting at 58.8% to over come 19 giveaways. Ja'Rob McCallum paced the attack with 25 points with Ian Chiles next in line with 15 points followed by Khufu Najee with 13 points.

It's tough to nail down Bradley because they have wo when expected but their two most difficult games by double figures to Arizona State and Illinois. There is little doubt that the strength of this team lies within their offense with the defense defending the shot well. Both played a part in a 74-54 rout of Texas-Pan American with the Braves up by 13 after 20 minutes and never looking back. The only significant difference was shooting the basketball with Bradley holding a 55%-34% advantage. Walt Lemon Jr led a trio of double digit scorers with a game high 26 points and six assists with Omari Grier following with 17 points while Ka'Darryl Bell added ten points. The duo of Austin Barnes and Tyshon Pickett contributed another eight points each with th efforementioned players accounting for all but five points.
If you look at the numbers each team has put up then I believe you have to go with potential and if that is the case then going with the home team would be my choice...
