The Temple Owls and the St. Joseph’s Hawks face off on Wednesday in college basketball action.
The Temple Owls are off to a 3-3 start to the season and while that is uncharacteristic of them they have won their last two. Temple faces Texas on Saturday.
The St. Joseph’s Hawks are off to a 4-2 start and have won their last two games. St. Joe’s losses were to LSU and Creighton so there really isn’t a lot to hang their head about. Playing in the A-10 St. Joe’s schedule will be a tough one.
Temple is 1-4 against the spread in their last five non-conference games, 5-17 against the spread in their last 22 home games, and 5-2 against the spread against the A-10. St. Joseph’s is 7-15 against the spread following a win, 2-7 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, and 1-8 against the spread in their last nine road games.
This one is going to be close and we are going to be glad we are taking the points here.
