The Baylor Bears and the Kentucky Wildcats face off on Friday Night in Arlington for a huge college basketball matchup of ranked teams.
The Baylor Bears have played arguably the toughest schedule in the nation thus far and they come into this matchup ranked 20th in the nation. Baylor lost to Syracuse but they are 2-1 thus far on a neutral court. Cory Jefferson is averaging 13.5 points and 8.8 rebounds to lead the Bears. Brady Heslip is averaging 12.9 points, Kenny Cherry is averaging 10.8 points and 4.9 assists, and Isaiah Austin is averaging 10.5 points and 4.9 rebounds. Baylor is averaging 78.1 points and the are shooting 50.4 percent while defensively they are allowing 66.5 points and their opponents are shooting 38.6 percent. Baylor begins Big 12 play on January seventh against Iowa State.

The Kentucky Wildcats are 7-1 this season and are ranked number three in the nation. UK has bounced back from their loss to Michigan State and they have reeled off five wins in a row. Julius Randle leads the wildcats averaging 18.1 points and 12.5 assists. Aaron Harrison is averaging 13.8 points, James Young is averaging 13 points, and Andrew Harrison is averaging 10.4 points and 3.4 assists. Kentucky is averaging 84.5 points and they are shooting 48.4 percent while defensively they are allowing 64 points and their opponents are shooting 35.7 percent. Kentucky Pays North Carolina and Louisville before they even get into conference play.
Baylor is 1-4 against the spread in their last five games, 1-4 against the spread following a win, and 1-6 against the spread after scoring more than 100 points in their previous game. Kentucky is 4-1 against the spread against the Big 12, 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five neutral site games, and 8-3-1 against the spread in their last 12 non-conference games.
