The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns tangle with the #6 Louisville Cardinals at the KFC Yum! Center.
Louisiana-Lafayette might be one of the teams to watch out for if we continue to perform as they did at Louisiana Tech. The Ragin' Cajuns handled a pretty good Bulldog squad 89-80 as a 12 1/2 point underdog for win number four in a row to improve to 6-2. ULL simply out gunned the home team by sinking half their attempts and sealing the deal with a 22-12 edge at the foul line while La Teck struggled to find the shooting touch at 41.6%. Kasey Shepard tossed in a game high 22 points in only 23 minutes with Shawn Long and Elfrid Payton sinking 17 points apiece with both hauling in ten rebounds as well while Xavian Rimmer and and Kevin brown netted 15 and ten points.

The Kangaroos actually shot the ball better 46%-43% but they also gave the ball away 20 times and allowed 22 offensive rebounds which translated in to 27 more looks which were put to good use. When the dust settled UL had five double digit scorers led by Montrezl Harrell with 14 points and seven pulls while Chane Behanan, Russ Smith, Luke Hancock and Chris Jones combined for 41 points with Behanan hauling in eleven rebounds and Smith handing out 11 assists.
