The Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans face off on Tuesday in college basketball action.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have gotten off to a rough start to the year going 206 thus far. Tulsa hasn’t taken the easy road playing the 42nd ranked schedule in the nation. Rashad Smith leads the Golden Hurricane averaging 13.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. James Woodard is averaging 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds, Shaquille Harrison is averaging 9.1 points, and Patrick Swilling Jr. is averaging 9.0 points. Tulsa is averaging 71.5 points and they are shooting 43.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 75.1 points and their opponents shoot 44.2 percent. Tulsa has plenty of tough games on the schedule but overall it should get easier as the season goes on.

The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans are off to a 3-4 start with two of their wins coming against teams that aren’t playing Division 1. The Trojans are 1-3 on the road this season and haven’t beaten a team with a RPI better than 200. Will Neighbour is averaging 18.6 points and 7.3 rebounds to lead UALR. Josh Higgins is averaging 12 points, James White is averaging 9.1 points and 6.7 rebounds, and Leroy Isler is averaging 7.7 points. Arkansas-Little Rock is averaging 75.6 points and they are shooting 42 percent while defensively they are allowing 78.4 points and their opponents are shooting 44.8 percent. Arkansas-Little Rock has Memphis next up on the schedule.
Tulsa is 7-2 against the spread in their last nine home games against a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400. Arkansas-Little Rock is 4-1 against the spread against a team with a losing record, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games, and 0-7 against the spread in their last seven road games.
The number here looks to be a little o the big side as UALR has been competitive and Tulsa has hardly been a world beater.
