The Eastern Kentucky Colonels are 7-3 o the season but they haven’t quite been tested and when they have been called upon to pick things up they have lost. EKU fell to NC State and VCU recently after losing to Youngstown State earlier in the season. Glen Cosey leads the Colonels averaging 19.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. Marcus Lewis is averaging 12.2 points, Corey Walden is averaging 12 points and 4.8 rebounds, and Orlando Williams is averaging 11 points. Eastern Kentucky is averaging 78.3 points and they are shooting 46 percent while defensively they are allowing 64.5 points and their opponents are averaging 43.4 percent. EKU plays in the OVC and begins conference play on January 2nd.
Wisconsin is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, 4-1 against the spread following a win, and 4-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Eastern Kentucky is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games, 0-7 against the spread following a win, and 15-6 against the spread in their last 21 road games against a team with a winning home record.
This is just a ton of points and while Wisconsin has the ability to blow teams out this is just too many points fpr me to pass up.
