The struggling Wright State Raiders visit the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks looking to right the ship.
So...the experts say Wright State is one of the teams to beat in the Horizon. Based on what I have seen from this team thus far I'd say a snowflake has a better chance of surviving an 80 degree day. The Raiders dropped number three in a row in a 94-74 loss to VMI where the Keydets led by eleven at the break and cruised to the finish line behind 51% shooting including a 17-31 performance from long range which was game over with the Raiders sinking three bombs. AJ Pacher tossed in 14 points to lead the Wright State offense with Miles Dixon adding 13 and Matt Vest 12 points and six yanks.

It doesn't take an expert to figure out that Miami (Ohio) is struggling and a quick glance at their numbers tells the story. The Redhawks are having difficulty putting the ball in the basket and opponents are not. The Redhawks fell to 1-5 following a 78-65 defeat at Evansville with just 39% from the field including a 3-16 mark from beyond the arc. The Purple Aces fired away at 52% and owned a 28-16 advantage at the foul line to win by a comfortable margin. Reggie Johnson pumped in a team high 21 points and dished out eigh helpers while Will Felder and Geovonie McKnight tossed in 13 points with Felder snagging six boards.
I have been a big fan of Wright State but I can't sugar coat their perfomances because awful is too nice. I would say a loss here and this team will be going no where this season. I'm taking them but no way I'm betting them...
