The Missouri State Bears go out on the road to face the #6 Louisvlle Cardinals Tuesday.
Missouri State is off to one of their best starts with the only loss coming at the hands of Virginia. The Bears come in off a 70-67 decision at Oral Roberts in more of a defensive strugglr then the score indicates. The Golden Eagles clearly shot the ball well at nearly 47% but 13 turnovers opened the door for Missouri State's 43% marksmanship with an extra nine looks that were put to good use. Marcus Marshall led all scorers with 20 points with Jarmar Gulley next in line with 15 while Christian Kirk added 12 points and six rebounds. Altogether the Bears received scoring from nine of ten players.

Louisville looks as fearsome as ever as they embark on securing back to back National Championships. The only slip up thus far has been a loss to North Carolina while their 9-1 record is filled with nine double figure victories. Western Kentucky was the latest to see the Cardinals potent offense and stifling defense in a 79-63 decision. While the Cardinals fired away at 51% the defense clamped down on the Hilltoppers shooters with 36% shooting allowed which meant ten more field goals for the home team. Russ Smith paced the scoring with 14 points and ten assists with Mangok Mathiang adding 13 points and five pulls. The duo of Tim Henderson and Wayne Blackshear tossed in 12 points apiece with Chane Behanan rounding out the top contributors with eleven points.
