The St Bonaventure Bonnies make the trip down the east coast to face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
St Bonaventure proven to be a pretty good offensive team but I would like to seehow this offense performs once the schedule begins to toughen. Scoring was no problem against the no defense Iona Gaels in a 102-89 victory where the Bonnies sank shots at over 54% including 8-16 on threes. Iona sank half their looks but seven more Bonnies field goals easily carried the day as they built a 14 point lead after 20 minutes. Andell Cumberbatch pumped in a game high 25 points with Dion Wright next up with 22 points and eight boards. Charlon Kloof and Jordan Gathers tossed in 17 pointa apiece while Marquise Simmons netted 15 points and hauled in ten rebounds.

Wake Forest has enjoyed a solid start to the season and it will be interesting to see where this team fits in the new look ACC. I can't determine that yet although this doesn't look like a team that can be over looked especially after knocking off a decent Richmond squad 76-66 in overtime. The Demon Deacons have their defense to thank for this one by limiting the Spiders to38% from the field while hitting at 41% themselves and negating 21 turnovers with 16 offensive rebounds. Codi Miller-McIntyre led the scoring with 26 points on 7-16 from the field followed by a 15 point, nine rebound effort from Tyler Cavanaugh while Travis McKie and Devin Thomas combined for 21 points with Thomas coming down with a whopping 19 rebounds.
Wake Forest is the better team at home so they look like the obvious choice. The truth is I won't know enough about St Bonaventure until they play somebody so this is just a pick especially if the Bonnies are short hamded...
