The Oklahoma State Cowboys are 10-1 on the season and they are ranked seventh in the nation. OSU is 3-1 in neutral site games and they are 1-1 against teams ranked in the top 25. Marcus Smart is the leader of the Cowboys and he is averaging 18 points and 4.8 rebounds. Markel Brown is averaging 15.7 points, Le’Bryan Nash is averaging 13.8 points and 6.2 rebounds, and Phil Forte is averaging 11.2 points. Oklahoma State is averaging 87.2 points and they are shooting 49.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 62.6 points and their opponents are shooting 37.7 percent. Oklahoma State is looking like a potential Final Four team.
Colorado is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games, 5-0 against the spread in their last five non-conference games, and 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four neutral site games. Oklahoma State is 1-6 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, 6-16 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four Saturday games. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
This one should be a good one and while I like Oklahoma State to win the game I like Colorado to keep it within the number.
