The Northwestern Wildcats and the Brown Bears face off on Sunday in Evanston in college basketball action.
The Northwestern Wildcats have won their last two games but it I already apparent this may be a tough year. Northwestern has played the 148th ranked schedule and it looks to be the 12th toughest in the nation before the season is over. Drew Crawford is averaging 15.8 points and 7.6 rebounds to lead the Wildcats. JerShonn Cobb is averaging 13.6 points and 4.4 rebounds, Tre Demps is averaging 10.3 points, and Alex Olah is averaging 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds. Northwestern is averaging 68.5 points and they are shooting 43 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 64.9 points and their opponents are shooting 41.8 percent. Northwestern is 5-1 at home this season.

Brown is averaging 75 points per game and they are shooting 45.4 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 68.9 points and their opponents are shooting 40.6 percent. Brown doesn’t start Ivy League play until January 18th.
Northwestern is 1-5 against the spread following a win, 1-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 1-7 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread.
