The UC Irvine Anteaters have won two of their last three games but haven’t had much success against the Pac-12 so far this year. UC Irvine has played the 51st ranked schedule in the country and they are 4-3 on the road. Chris McNealy leads the Anteaters averaging 12.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Luke Nelson is averaging 12 points, Will Davis II is averaging 11.9 points and 7.0 rebounds, and Alex Young averages 9.6 points. UC Irvine is averaging 77.3 points and they are shooting 48.5 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 71.2 points and their opponents are shooting 40.4 percent. UC Irvine’s schedule gets much easier when they begin Big West conference play.
Arizona State is 6-0 against the spread against the Big West, 1-4 against the spread following a win, and 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 non-conference games. UC Irvine is 2-5 against the spread following a win, 1-5 against the spread following a game that they cover the point spread, and 7-15 against the spread in their last 22 road games against a team with a winning home record.
This is a big number for this one and I am going to take the points with the road team though I see ASU winning the game.
