The Buffalo Bulls go on the road to take the floor with the Drexel Dragons in a Sunday match up.
Buffalo is looking to get all their ducks in a row and gain some momentum before conference play begins and they took a step in the right direction with an 87-57 rout of Binghamton. The Bulls rushed out to a 13 point lead at the break and never looked back as they used 47.5% shooting and a 9-24 effort from long range to build a big lead and eventually pull away while the Bearcats shot 40% and gave the ball away 16 times. Javon McCrea led alll scorers with 25 points and 14 rebounds with Josh Freelove adding 19 more while Will Regan and Xavier Ford tossed in 18 and nine points with Regan snagging seven yanks.

Drexel has looked like the most consistent team in the Colonial thus far and whether that puts them in the position of front runner remains to be seen. The Dragons have shown the ability to both score and defend and leaned more on their D to knock off St Francis (PA) by a 59-49 count. The Red Flashes were held to 35.8% from the floor while Drexel connected at nearly 46% with a 13-3 advantage at the charity stripe icing it. Chris Fouch paced the offense with 15 points and seven rebounds followed by Frantz Massenat with 13 points while Kazembe Abif netted nine points and hauled down eleven boards. The Dragons were not explosive offensively but received contributions from nine players.
Drexel is better and Buffalo is dangerous so the key to me is for McCrea to come up big with the Bulls not falling behind early. I can see this going either way so I'll take the points...
