Points had been easy to come by for most of the season for North Carolina-Greensboro but the team had been fortunate to crack the 50 point barrier against Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. That wasn't enough to beat the Demon Deacons but it was against the Hokies in a 55-52 road decision. Both teams sank shots in the 36% range in an almost identical boxscore with the Spartans squeezing out an extra basket and not much more. Kyle Cain lead the North Carolina-Greensboro attack with a game high 18 points and ten rebounds with Kayel Locke netting 15 points before fouling out in 29 minutes which hurt with production tough to find overall.
North Carolina-Greensboro is coming in off a signature win over Virginia Tech and beating the Wolfpack would be much bigger. I think this spread is about right so this could go either way so I'll take the points in what seems to be a stretch...
