The Richmond Spiders take their winning ways to Matthews Arena to face the Northeastern Huskies.
Richmond has proven to be a balanced club in the early going and it' paid off with a solid record although the team is just 2-2 the last four times out. The Spiders used a strong second half surge to down Old Dominion 67-58 despite 41% shooting because they held the Monarchs to less then 40% and fired off eight more shots and totaled eight more baskets. Cedrick Lindsay paced the Richmond attack with 19 points and seven helpers with Kendall Anthony next in line with 17 while Alonzo Nelson-Ododa netting 13 points and hauling in ten rebounds.

This isn't the same Northeastern squad from a year ago and we can gather that bit of information from their record. The Huskies have generally not been blown out but have dropped seven of eight with a need to score a few more points. A 65-62 loss to Tulane was lost at the charity stripe where the Huskies went 15-30 compared to a 16-20 mark by the Green Wave. David Walker led a trio of double digit scorers with 18 points on 6-11 shooting followed Zach Stahl with a 16 point, six board performance while Scott Eatherton and Marco Banegas-Flores combining to drop 19 points.
Northeastern can play them close which is a worry and the world will be on Richmond which I hate. The numbers say Spiders which is how I'll go...
