The Pennsylvania Quakers are struggling this season going 2-8 thus far. Penn as played the 167th ranked schedule and are 1-5 on the road this season. Tony Hicks is averaging 13.8 points per game to lead the Quakers in scoring. Miles Jackson-Cartwright is averaging 12.5 points, Darien Nelson-Henry is averaging 12.8 points and 7.4 rebounds, and Fran Dougherty is averaging 11.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Penn is averaging 71.2 points and they are shooting 43.7 percent while defensively they are allowing 78.2 points and heir opponents shoot 40.2 percent. It is clear Penn’s big issue here is their defense.
George Mason is 4-1 against the spread against the Ivy League, 1-4 against the spread in their last five non-conference games, and 0-4 against the spread in their last four home games. Penn is 8-3 against the spread against the A-10, 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games, and 4-11 against the spread following a win.
George Mason isn’t a force this season but they are decent at home while Penn doesn’t have much working for them so I will lay the points.
