The Oregon State beavers are coming off of their first Pac=12 win of the year after knocking off Stanford. Oregon State is 7-1 at home this season, 1-2 in the Pac-12, and they have played the 139th ranked schedule in the country. Roberto Nelson Is averaging 21 points to lead the Beavers. Devon Collier is averaging 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds, Angus Brandt is averaging 11.5 points, and Hallice Cook is averaging 6.5 points. Oregon State is averaging 77.4 points and they are shooting 49.7 percent while defensively they allow 73.6 points and their opponents shoot 43.1 percent. Oregon State is playing their second of three consecutive home games with Oregon up next.

The Cal Golden Bears have won their first two Pac-12 games this season with all of those wins coming on the road. Cal is 2-2 on the road this season and they have played the 47th ranked schedule in the country. Justin Cobbs leads the Bears averaging 14.3 points and 6.3 assists per game. Richard Solomon is averaging 11.8 points and 10.4 rebounds, David Kravish is averaging 11.7 points and 7.8 rebounds, and Tyrone Wallace is averaging 11.5 points. Cal is averaging 75.7 points and they are shooting 46.1 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.5 points and their opponents are shooting 40.7 percent. Cal is playing their best basketball of the season.
Oregon State is 3-1-1 against the spread against the Pac-12, 0-4 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, and 4-10-1 against the spread following a win. Cal is 7-3-1 against the spread against the Pac-12, 24-9-1 against the spread in their last 34 Saturday games, and 4-10 against the spread after scoring more than 90 points in their previous game. The home team has covered the spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
This should be a good one but Cal is just the better team and I like them to cover.
