The Washington State Cougars are coming off of their first Pac-12 win of the year as they knocked off Utah. WSU is 8-8 overall and 1-3 on the road this season. DaVonte Lacy is averaging 17.7 points and 4.7 rebounds to leads the cougars. Royce Woolridge is averaging 9.3 points, Que Johnson is averaging 9.4 points, and D.J. Shelton is averaging 7.9 points and 7.9 rebounds. Washington State is averaging 64.9 points and they are shooting 42.3 percent while defensively they are allowing 63 points and their opponents are shooting 42.2 percent. Wazzu hasn’t beaten a team with a RPI better than 150.
Stanford is 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight games, 6-13-1 against the spread following a win, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record. Washington State is 6-2 against the spread against the Pac-12, 1-3-1 against the spread following a win, and 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four road games. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
I give Stanford and edge ehre but not against this kind of number where I have the trend in this series of the dog covering the spread holding form once again.
