UK is currently ranked 13th in the nation and are 10-0 at home but the loss will more than likely cause them to drop. Julius Randle is averaging 16.9 points and 11.0 rebounds per game to lead the Wildcats. James Young is averaging 14.6 points, Aaron Harrison is averaging 14.1 points, and Andrew Harrison is averaging 10.6 points. Kentucky is averaging 80.8 points and they are shooting 47.6 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.1 points and their opponents shoot 38.9 percent. Kentucky’s struggles have been away from home where they are 2-4 and against ranked teams where they are 1-2.

Tennessee is averaging 74.9 points and they are shooting 45.7 percent while defensively they are allowing 61.9 points and their opponents are shooting 41.4 percent. Tennessee has the top line talent to compete with anyone in the nation and are 2-2 against teams with a RPI better than 50.
Kentucky is 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games, 7-17-1 against the spread against the SEC, and 3-7 against the spread following a loss. Tennessee is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, 13-6 against the spread in their last 19 road games, and 11-3 against the spread against the SEC. The home team has covered the point spread in eight of the last 10 meetings of these two.
This one should be a war and we are going to be pretty happy to have the points in our back pocket here.
