The #23 Cincinnati Bearcats head to the Sunshine State to take on the South Florida Bulls.
Cincinnati is proving to be one of the elite squads in the AAC and their appearance in the top 25 shows that people are taking notice. That's not surprising given the nine game winning streak after a 69-58 decision versus Temple in which the Bearcats held the Owls to 43% from the floor and forced 15 giveaways while their own 41% included more threes and six more field goals. Sean Kilpatrick paced the scoring with a game high 23 points with Titus Rubles tossing in 13 points and snagging 12 rebounds followed by a ten board, 15 point effort from Joe Jackson.

South Florida had built a very good record heading in to conference play but stand at 1-3 after four contests. The Bulls need a bit more production from both ends of the floor but didn't get it last time out in a 71-54 loss at Southern Methodist where they trailed by 15 after 20 minutes. The Bulls simply struggled to find the shooting touch at 32% whle the Mustangs connected at 51% which meant ten more field goals. Points were hard to come by with Zach LeDay leading with 12 and six pulls on 3-3 shooting while Chris Perry netted ten points and five yanks followed by Musa Abdul-Aleem and Corey Allen Jr. with 15.
On paper this is a big mismatch favoring Cincinnati but South Florida has covered as well as any team the Bearcats face. Could I actually bet them? I can't really answer that...
