The only Big Sky matchup on Monday will be a game between Idaho State and Weber State. Both teams are starting to figure things out a bit, as the Bengals have won three of their last five games and the Wildcats have won five of their last six.
It’s surprising the spread is double digits.

Weber State is 4-6 against the spread overall this season and Idaho State is 4-2 against the spread on the road. Idaho State has also covered the spread four times in the last five games, while Weber State is 2-3 against the spread in its last five games, including 1-2 at home.
Both teams shoot the ball extremely well. We’re talking about 46 percent from the field, and Idaho State averages close to 40 percent from downtown. Now, Weber State does play solid defense, holding teams under 70 points per game and less than 35 percent from the three-point line. But Idaho State has four players averaging in the double digits and four players shooting above 40 percent from three.
Considering the Bengals are great at keeping games close on the road and Weber State isn’t known for blowouts at home, it’s tough to imagine this game being any different. The Bengals can match the Wildcats in the scoring department and have been finding their rhythm a bit in the last few games.
Weber State should win the game straight up, but you can bet it will come down to the final minutes. Idaho State is being given too many points.
