You may see a lot of fireworks when Wyoming and Air Force meet up on Wednesday night. Both teams shoot a high percentage from the field and the over has hit six times in the last eight meetings that have taken place in Air Force.
The Cowboys have been inconsistent all season with their 11-6 record. They’ll win a couple of games and then go on a mini losing streak. Currently, they’ve won two straight, which means they may be due for a loss. They are 2-4 on the road this season and are 3-2 against the spread away from home. However, they are 9-4-1 against the spread overall this season.

The Falcons are also an inconsistent team and have lost three of their last four games. They are 7-4 at home and have won the last three meetings against Wyoming. While it may seem like Air Force is due to turn things around on its home court, the Falcons struggle to play any type of defense. The Cowboys are only allowing 61 points per game on 39.4 percent shooting. The Falcons are watching teams average 73 points per game on 44.9 percent shooting.
With the way Wyoming has been shooting the ball (50.5 percent last five games) you could witness an unusual road victory.
Air Force has covered its last five games and has had Wyoming’s number the last couple of seasons. However, I have to ride the hotter hand in this one. And the Cowboys are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against teams with a winning straight up record.
Wyoming’s hot shooting and great defense will get the job done.
