Rick’s Pick: The line in this matchup is currently set at -12 for St. Mary’s and as far as common opponents, these two have had similar results. Both got smoked by Gonzaga, Pepperdine by 17 and St. Mary’s by 22; Pepperdine lost to San Francisco while St. Mary’s beat them; Pepperdine beat Santa Clara and St. Mary’s lost to them; and both beat Portland by similar margins. All that said, this looks to be closer than the spread.
