Middle Tennessee, meanwhile, is 2-1 in conference and routed Texas-San Antonio 80-58 in its last outing Saturday. The Blue Raiders used pesky defense to stifle the Roadrunners to 16 of 48 from the field and 22 percent from distance, while shooting 47.4 percent from the floor and connecting on 8 of 24 from downtown. Middle Tennessee also dominated the boards 41 to 29 and forced 16 turnovers. Senior G Kerry Hammonds scored a game-high 19 points, including 5 of 7 from downtown, and junior G Marcus Tarrance added 16 points off the bench. On the season, the Blue Raiders are averaging 75.7 ppg on 45 percent shooting and senior F Shawn Jones leads the team with 13.8 ppg.
Rick’s Pick: The line in this one is currently set at -5 for Tulsa and there’s very little separating these too stat wise, so the lean goes to the home team.
