The Ohio Bobcats visit the Easten Michigan Eagles on Saturday in an early afternoon MAC tilt.
The MAC has been a bit unpredictable in the early going as teams face each other for the first time. Ohio at home versus Bowling Green seemed like a certain win but that was far from the case with the Falcons pulling out a 58-56 upset on Wednesday. The offense never got going with 42% shooting combining with 18 giveaways to keep the 39% shooting visitors competitive. TJ Hall posted a team best 15 points with Maurice Ndour tossing in 12 points and grabbing eight boards while Nick Kellogg chipped in with ten.

I see what happened to Eastern Michigan against Akron and I can't help but shake my head because I thought the Eagles were improved. I might be dead wrong after watching the Zips go on the road and dismantle EMU in the first half on the way to a 78-68 decision. The Zips rode nearly 47% shooting to build a 20 point lead at the break to hold off the cold shooting Eagles who hit at 36% which squandered 14 more looks. EMU received 20 points and six yanks from Karrington Ward on 7-15 from the floor with Darell Combs and Mike Talley netting 12 and ten points on 9-30 accuracy.
If you look at the history between these tems the home squad has generally faired well and that means Eastern Michigan. However after watching them get pummeled by Akron I have a tough time backing them. Actually not liking the Bobcats versus the zone so bet cautiously...
