The USC Trojans and the Stanford Cardinal face off on Sunday in Pac-12 college basketball action.
The USC Trojans are coming off of their biggest win of the year upsetting Cal and at the same time earning their first Pac-12 win of the year. USC is 1-5 in the Pac-12 and in last place in the conference standings. Byron Wesley leads the Trojans averaging 16.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Pe’Shon Howard and J.T. Herrell each are averaging 9.9 points and Nikola Jovanovic is averaging 9.3 points. USC is averaging 71.9 points and they are shooting 45 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 74.3 points and their opponents are shooting 42.7 percent. All of USC’s Pac-12 losses have been by double digits and they are 8-2 at home this season.

The Stanford Cardinal are coming off of a loss to UCLA in their last outing ending Stanford’s three game winning streak. Stanford is 3-3 in the Pac-12 this season and they are 4-4 away from home. Chasson Randle leads the Cardinal averaging 19.2 points per game. Dwight Powell is averaging 14.3 points, Anthony Brown is averaging 13.2 points, and Josh Huestis is averaging 10.9 points and 8.2 rebounds. Stanford is averaging 76.8 points per game and they are shooting 48.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 70.2 points and their opponents are shooting 41.6 percent. Stanford is in sixth place in the Pac-12 standings.
USC is 5-13-3 against the spread following a game that they covered the spread, 1-9 against the spread against the Pac-12, and 1-5-1 against the spread in their last seven games. Stanford is 4-1 against the spread following a loss, 7-3-1 against the spread in their last 11 games, and 4-1 against the spread following a loss.
