The Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Indiana Hoosiers face off on Thursday in Lincoln in a Big Ten college basketball battle.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers have won two of their last three games and are starting to find some wins in Big Ten play. Nebraska is 9-1 at home this season and 2-5 in the Big Ten which puts them in 10th place in the standings. Terran Petteway is averaging 18.2 points and 5.4 rebounds to lead the Huskers. Shavon Shields is averaging 11 points and 5.7 rebounds, Deverell Biggs is averaging 9.9 points, and Walter Pitchford is averaging 8.2 points. Nebraska is averaging 69.2 points and they have been shooting 43.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.8 points and their opponent are shooting 44.1 percent. Nebraska looks similar to how it played out for them last season as their best play happened too late to help them in the big picture and March Madness.
