The Northwestern Wildcats have won three of their last four games raise their record to 4-5 in the Pac-12. Minnesota is 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 Big Ten games, 4-10-1 against the spread in their last 15 games overall, and 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four home games against a team with a losing road record. Northwestern is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games, 2-9 against the spread following a win, and 2-6 against the spread in their last eight road games against a team with a winning home record. The home team has covered the point spread in eight of the last nine meetings of these two.
This is a case of simply too many points as Northwestern is playing well and Minnesota is solid but not worthy of this number.
