The Line: Nevada Wolf Pack -9 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
Air Force will put its three-game losing streak on the line against the Nevada Wolf Pack. It’s the first of two scheduled meetings this season.
It’s absolutely insane that the Falcons have lost three straight considering they’re shooting 49 percent from the field in their last five games. Oddly enough, that high shooting percentage still hasn’t helped them score at least 70 points during the slump. They’re only averaging 26.6 rebounds and continue to turn the ball over a high percentage of the time.

It remains a mystery how good the Wolf Pack really are. One minute they beat a decent Utah State, the next minute they’re losing to Wyoming in overtime. We do know that they’ve turned up their defensive intensity as of late, holding teams to under 40 percent shooting in their last four games and 31.5 percent from beyond the arc. That’s a big difference from the 44.6 percent they’ve allowed on the season.
Both teams have made you money this season with Air Force 10-4 against the spread and Nevada 12-8. However, Nevada’s 4-6 ATS record at home scares me, especially knowing that Air Force is 5-1 ATS on the road.
Giving the points to a Falcons squad that is hungry for a win and is shooting a high percentage can be dangerous. Which is why I’m going with Air Force, as it has a puncher’s chance to win this game SU.
Air Force is 4-0 against the spread in its last four road games and is 7-1 against the spread in its last eight games overall. I’ll gladly take the Falcons to end their losing streak.
