The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles host the Belmont Bruins at the Eblen Center in an OVC tilt.
Belmont hasn't exactly dominated the competition the last few weeks but at the end of the day they are tops in the Ohio Valley at 7-1. The Bruins finished off Morehead State with a 10-0 run to end the game in a 76-73 victory. The visitors shot the ball at 46% and forced 16 turnovers while owning a 23-15 advantage at the stripe. JJ Mann was the Bruins scoring star with 22 points followed by Reece Chamberlain with 14 followed by Craig Bradshaw and Evan Bradds with 12 and ten points respectively with a combined ten rebounds.

Tennessee Tech is finding out that it's tough to survive when the defense is giving up well over 80 points during a current four game slide. An 81-68 defeat at the hands of visiting rival Tennessee State was a tie game until a second half Tigers surge that was spurred on by 51% marksmanship with a 32-16 margin at the charity strip finishing the job. The 44% shooting Golden Eagles received 22 points and eight boards from Dwan Caldwell with Dennis Ogbe and Jordan Johnson tossing in eleven points apiece with Ogbe hauling in a game high nine rebounds.
Neither team plays stout defense which always leaves the door open for opponents. The Ohio Valley is interesting and unpredictable with anything possible. I'm probably going out on the limb here because Tennessee Tech isn't good...
