One team is guaranteed to get back on the winning side when North Texas travels to Tulsa for a Saturday afternoon game. The Mean Green have lost four of their last six and the Golden Hurricanes have lost two of their last four.
North Texas has been doing just enough to keep its head above water. It’ll lose one, win one, lose one, and win one. It’s been the story of the season for the Mean Green. The reason for this is the inability to do anything spectacular. In fact, it’s about as average as a team can get, averaging 72.3 points and giving up 72.5 points per game. That has pretty much been the case in its last five games as well, allowing 69.8 points and scoring 71.

Needless to say, the margin of error is slim.
The Golden Hurricanes aren’t too far off, as they’re shooting 41 percent from the field and allowing opponents to shoot 39.9 percent in their last five games. They’re also a team that relies heavily on the three ball but is shooting just 29.8 percent in their last three games.
These two squads are about as even as it gets. All the way down to the against the spread records, as North Texas is 6-2 against the number on the road and Tulsa is 5-2 at home. I’m finding it very difficult to side with either team, so when in doubt, always go with the team that’s getting the points.
In that case, North Texas is the pick.
