The Line: Bowling Green Falcons +2 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The only Mid-American college basketball game on Sunday will be a matchup between Buffalo and Bowling Green. The Bulls are looking for their third straight win and the Falcons are trying to prevent their third straight loss.
This should be a low scoring game considering these are two of the better defensive teams in the conference. Bowling Green holds teams to just 63.1 points per game, while Buffalo isn’t too far behind with an average of 66.5 points. It may be wise to check the total before wagering.

As far as the spread is concerned, Buffalo has been a much more consistent offensive team as of late. It’s averaging 72.6 points and shooting 46.9 percent from the field in its last five games. Meanwhile, Bowling Green is shooting just 40.9 percent from the field and averaging 63.2 points. However, the Falcons are shooting 40 percent from downtown, which is a nine percent increase from their season average of 31 percent.
Buffalo has made you money all season with a 9-4 against the spread record. Bowling Green not so much with its 9-10 record and 3-6 record at home. Buffalo is 4-4 against the spread on the road, which is still better than losing money.
If you’re not going to wait for the total to drop, the Bulls have to be the pick here.
Buffalo is 8-1 against the spread in its last nine games and 13-3 against the spread in its last 16 games against Mid-American competition. Yeah, I’ll have some of that.
Pick the road team and the small chalk.
